Welcome to a new throwback edition of the Roman Gabriel Show ! In
1998 at the height of his powers, I caught up with three time NFL
MVP, and Super Bowl Champion Quarterback of the Green Bay Packers
Brett Farve. Go inside the game with the man who was clearly the
best player in the game at that time. We talked about his
gunslinger style, playing the quarterback position at the highest
level, and the quarterback he wanted to emulate during his teenage
years growing up in Louisiana. Brett lead the Packers back to the
NFL promise land.
At the time of his retirement, Favre was the NFL leader in passing
yards, passing touchdowns, and quarterback wins. 70,000 passing
yards, and 500 touchdown passes ! He was also the ironman playing a
record 297 consecutive starts. Eleven (11) times a Pro Bowler. I
had the honor of being there for his 2016 Induction into the Pro
Football Hall of Fame ! Farve was up front, engaging, one of my
favorites. Enjoy my 1998 during the season sit down with the MVP
Brett Farve.
