The Roman Gabriel Show

Mar 31, 2020

In Today’s NFL Russell Wilson, Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, and Lamar Jackson, are game-changing quarterbacks making plays with their arms, and their legs impacting the landscape of the QB position in the NFL.. My guest was doing the same thing over 20 years ago. Enjoy my sit down with former NFL Quarterback Jeff Garcia. He excelled for 17 years- in the CFL, and most notably in the NFL as a playmaking difference maker with the San Francisco 49ers. A four-time CFL All-Star, and four-time NFL Pro Bowl selection, Garcia began his professional football career with the Calgary Stampedersof the Canadian Football League (CFL) as an undrafted free agent in 1994. In 1999, Garcia debuted in the National Football League (NFL) with the San Francisco 49ers. With the 49ers, Garcia made three Pro Bowl appearances (for the 20002001, and 2002 seasons) and led the team to the playoffs in the 2001 and 2002 seasons. I spoke to Jeff at Super Bowl 54 in Miami, about the changing landscape of playing quarterback in todays NFL, his take on Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Tom Brady. And his development of todays style of QB play far before its time ! Enjoy my in depth discussion with Jeff Garcia on the Roman Gabriel Show ! www.romangabrielshow.com
